SUSTAINABILITY

In short, everything that we do. We consider the impact that every part of our business will have on the environment and it's inhabitants.

We have taken a considered approach to sustainability in the production of our unique performance garments.  Recycled fabrics are carefully selected from either RPET (recycled plastics) or regenerated nylon. 

Every SPOKEN jersey saves 6  plastic bottles.

There's no point in spending all that time and effort becoming a fitter and healthier you if the fabrics you wear contain chemical levels that are harmful to your health.   We consider the impact on the planet and the wearer.

All our fabrics are, at a minimum, Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.

This means the fabric has been tested and certified to be free from harmful carcinogens, chemicals and azo dyes and is safe to wear against your skin.

Absolutely 100% yes!

To touch and wear, you would not know the difference.  They have the same wicking and performance characteristics as other performance cycling fabrics made from virgin polyester and nylon.   Ours are just better for the planet.  

By choosing recycled fabrics, you are preventing pre and post-consumer waste from entering our landfills and oceans and contributing to savings in energy, water and fossil fuel. Better right?

We don't use any plastic in our packaging.

We reduce our impact by using plant based, certified home compostable garment bags and shipping satchels across our range. 

Our commitment to 1% for the Planet is based on sales not profits.  No loopholes, no exceptions;  1% of every sale is donated to grassroots environmental causes.

SPOKEN is unable to cancel an order once it has been placed as we work hard to process and dispatch all orders as quickly as possible.  If you have made a mistake with the items you have purchased or the nominated shipping address for your order, please get in touch as soon as possible and we may be able to intercept the dispatch of your order and change this for you.  Please note that although we will try our best, it is not always possible to change order details in time and therefore SPOKEN cannot be held liable for any incorrect details entered by the customer.

All our products are priced in  AUD.  You can also view products in AUD USD CAD EUR GBP SGD HKD JPY NZD.

Please note:  All orders are processed in AUD.  While the content of your cart is displayed in your selected currency, you will checkout using AUD at the most current exchange rate at the time of purchase. SPOKEN is not responsible for any fluctuations in currency.

A discount code must be entered at checkout.  If you are experiencing issues with the discount code, please get in touch prior to completing checkout as we are unable to reimburse or offer a refund once an order has been placed.

SHIPPING

Yes absolutely! We ship free of charge on orders over AUD$170.

All our international shipments are shipped carbon neutral through our partnership with DHL Express Go Green.

All our online orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Melbourne, Australia

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can keep a close eye on your order.

Through our partnership with DHL Express, the CO2 emissions of an international shipment are calculated based on the shipment's weight and distance travelled.  

A corresponding contribution is then made to a climate protection project through the purchase of carbon credits from verified and high quality projects, thus neutralising the shipment’s CO2e emissions.

The calculation and offset of our carbon emissions is annually verified by SGS, an independent auditor.

All orders are shipped from Australia.  Depending on the destination country, you may be required to pay duties and taxes on your order. This is determined and applied by your local customs. Any additional duties, foreign taxes or other fees must be paid by you, the customer. Please get in touch with your local customs office for further information regarding duties and taxes.
